Field Trips
At Fiery Ginger Farm, we believe that students learn by doing. We offer an authentic, hands-on experience in farming to students of all ages. This ain't no hayride folks! Students visiting our West Sacramento urban farm site will learn all about sustainable food production while participating in actual farm tasks including planting, harvesting, washing, and packing produce as well as handling and caring for our animals.

School Garden Support
At Fiery Ginger Farm, we believe in equitable garden and farm based education. We have over a combined two decades of experience planning and supporting school gardens.
We can also provide complete standards-based lessons on a variety of topics including agriculture, food systems, garden ecology, and nutrition.
